The label was not tryna push gothboiclique they were tryna only push peep so I know peep felt like he owed his homies something. But also u gotta remember these niggas all really helped him become a superstar and get signed and they were tryna get signed too but the label was tryna just take peep, the superstar talent, and dip leaving the everyone else like ned, wicca,tracy, mackned ect to die. Mind you niggas was in and out of homelessness before the loft. Like peep was nigga with all the money at that point so they did for sure use him but I know peep knew how much they relied on him. Honestly I feel like everyone in gbc did care about him but it really was a hella complicated situation. This is just my thought about how it went.īruh me and my brother say the same thing. And that people care more about their money and status than a human being, everyone knows that with drugs it can be so risky and just walking into that room to check on him shouldn't have been such a big deal. In the end its just so shitty that he went out like that. If only one of those managers kept a better eye on him or had those kits on the bus it would be different.
Gus was their responsibility and they knew about his increasing drug use. I don't think that most of gbc were "fake friends" but yea they probably saw it as some kind of betrayal, because they all wanted to make it.Įnd of the day the managers had to be better in their work. The whole combination of jealousy/poor management/drugs and alcohol let to the point of neglect, and unfortunately gus died because of that. I kinda got that vibe from the bexey video, he almost seems acting sarcastic how he was talking about gus on that point. Probably the fact that the rest of gbc felt screwed over they just stopped caring about gus like they did before, and they didn't care about what he was taking/ doing on that last day. Some gbc members probably were holding a grudge against gus because they knew it would be done after the tour, while gus was just about to make it. Probatly that pressure was to big on him and he made the decision to take them on one last tour with him. They also wanted fame and some more money and the only way they could get it was gus. I think it all went wrong because gus got the record deal and the rest of gbc was left out. You can't let your buddy be death for more than 6 hours without checking on him.
